Library

The library of the Museum der Moderne Salzburg comprises around 33,000 titles on modern and contemporary art and is open to all interested parties at the Generali Foundation Study Center at the Rupertinum venue. The Study Center is a research facility and learning area offering an extensive collection of exhibition catalogs, monographs, photo books, magazines, theory volumes, and a special collection of rare and valuable books (including artist's publications). It combines the libraries of the Museum der Moderne Salzburg and the Generali Foundation as well as archive, text, and media holdings (the online catalog of the Generali Foundation collection can be found here).

During opening hours (Tue-Thu 10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and by appointment (studienzentrum(at)mdmsalzburg.at, T +43 662 842220-551), we are happy to assist you with your research.

Please note: This is a reference library; media cannot be borrowed for use outside the library.
