Jungle II

"Jungle II" is like a fine web of lines in space, an abstract wrought iron structure that looks as if has been drawn, but is also wildly rampant while the material remains hard, industrial, and very precisely constructed. The structure recalls dense climbing plants that create a gate, a magic threshold between reality and imagination. Hofer plays with the tension between nature and construction, chaos and order.
